About Labyrinthodontia[]
Labyrinthodontia ('maze-toothed') is an extinct amphibian subclass, which constituted some of the dominant animals of late Paleozoic and early Mesozoic eras (about 390 to 150 million years ago). The name describes the pattern of infoldings of the dentin and enamel of the teeth, which are often the only part of the creatures that fossilize. They are also distinguished by a heavily armored skull roof (hence the older name "Stegocephalia"), and complex vertebrae, the structure of which were used in older classifications of the group. Because labyrinthodonts do not form a monophyletic group, many modern researchers have abandoned the term. However, some have continued to use the group in their classifications, at least informally, pending more detailed study of their relationships.[1]
In Game[]
The Labyrinthodontia is a Common amphibian, it tends to be stronger than Limnoscelis, and in the beginning it can be useful to kill some Carnivores, and its Labyrinthosaurus hybrid tends to be a cheap and easy creature to make, very good for beginners, in the long run it probably it won't be useful, but at the beginning of the game the hybrid can help a lot. in short, it's worth making a Hybrid at the beginning of the game. but the Labyrinthodontia is beautiful, especially at level 40, so it can be a nice decoration.
